Real Housewives of Beverly Hills

I have been so excited for the season premiere of the RHOBH since the end of season one. How amazing was last season? And how bad of a cliffhanger was the season finale? So annoying! Of course this season is a lot more "taboo" because of the drama that has been going on with Russell and Taylor over the past couple weeks. I'm not really sure how I feel about them airing footage with Russell in it as of right now, but I will have to see what kind of light he is portrayed in. I would assume that Bravo wouldn't do anything to disrespect him or Taylor. But, they wouldn't run away from the astronomical ratings they're probably going to get, either.

I thought that the little bit on Russell's suicide at the beginning of the episode was really sweet. It was a nice tribute to Russell, but there's always the rest of the season to see it play out. Holy lip fillers on Kyle Richards! She comes in a close second to Taylor Armstrong with the lip fillers.

A bit of background on my history with the RHOBH - I love everyone on this show except for Taylor, who I can't stand, and Camille, who I hate almost as much as I hate Danielle Staub. Oh, and just for the record, I hate Allyson DuBois too.. but who doesn't? Something that I love about all of the Housewives shows is that we know what happens at the end. For instance, we know that Pandora, Lisa's daughter, just got married recently. It is very exciting to see throughout the season what leads up to these things. I have a favorite thing about all of the Housewives shows. For Beverly Hills, I love how freakin' rich they all are. They can spend money like its water and not have to worry about it running out one day, because they have stable businesses and careers (cough, cough Kim Kardashian).

I feel so bad for Kim. Kyle was so mean to her last season. No matter how she was acting, if you knew that she was having a problem with anything - you should have gotten her help. Kyle repeatedly put her down and exposed her on camera. That's not what sisters do! In this case, it seems like the big fight was exactly what Kyle and Kim needed, and now they are in a good place and all is good. I love them both!

As much as I said I hated Camille, I feel like this divorce was just what she needed. Don't get me wrong, I would never wish that on anybody, but I feel like it just brought her back into reality from that friggin' lala delusional land that she was living in. We sort of saw her coming back into it towards the end of season one, but in this episode of season two, we see an entirely different Camille.

Adrienne and Paul are so funny! They really are the Bickersons! Did Adrienne seriously get a dog that looks just like Giggy? The small dog is definitely Lisa's thing, and I don't think anyone could rock the dog with the poise, confidence and affection that Lisa has! Sorry, Adrienne! I'm also really skeptical about the gold tinsel in Adrienne's hair. It's really trashy in my opinion, but it kind of looks good with her hair color. I'm sure that she could afford to pay for real gold tinsel for her hair, but I just don't think it reflects her personality. WHO PAYS $2,200 FOR A BOTTLE OF CHAMPAGNE? This is why I love the Beverly Hills housewives. They buy this stuff and think NOTHING of it. They don't even have to worry about saving that money... it's pocket change for them.

A Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Dinner Party? This HAS to end badly... I was really happy to see Taylor on this episode. It made me sad to see her this happy knowing that something so tragic would happen months later. Ken's response when Taylor was talking about going to therapy with Russell was completely uncalled for. You can see how it immediately upset Taylor. I thought that it was nice of Kyle to go to her rescue and calm her down. Kyle may not be the best sister, but she is a great friend. I was really surprised that Lisa and Ken actually walked across the street to Adrienne's house! Knowing them, they would probably have hired a driver! It was so funny when the chef had his assistants close the door when he heard Lisa was there. She must really bug him! Paul was SO funny when he alluded to seeing Camille's previous "performances" (a.k.a. her porn that she denied time and time again last season).

What did I say? This dinner party couldn't have ended without a fight. Ken did hurt Taylor when he made the comment about her going to therapy with Russell. It may have been his opinion, but the way that he worded it made it seem stuck up and it really hurt her feelings. Yes, she did feel offended. Offended is not a bad word. If your words offended someone, you have to own up to it! It was also really disrespectful that Ken let Giggy drink out of the champagne glass. I can't stand when people treat dogs as people. There is no need for a dog to be drinking champagne that costs over $2,000 a bottle or out of a glass that costs just as much. That's what dog bowls are for! What happened to Ken and Lisa this season? They seem really stuck up!

Once again, I freaking hate cliffhangers! The first episode is always the worst, because we see the best moments of the season and we have no idea what episode these moments are going to be on! UGH! This season looks really great though. More dinner parties from hell? Adrienne washing a turkey with hand soap? Kyle actually standing up for Kim and Kim cursing someone out? DRAMA DRAMA DRAMA! I love it!!!
